Terms of service
These terms explain how Chef Social works and what we each agree to when you use it. By creating an account or starting a plan, you agree to them.
The service
Chef Social helps restaurants with social media. Depending on your plan, we film your restaurant once each paid quarter, turn your footage into short videos with captions, plan your content and post approved videos to the accounts you connect.
On-site shoots are currently available in Southern California only. We may change or improve features over time.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity in your account. Please give us accurate information about your restaurant so we can do good work.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Plans are billed every three months in advance. Prices on our website are shown per month. You can cancel future renewals anytime and keep access through the quarter you paid for. See our cancellation policy for details.
Your content
You own your footage, photos, logos and the finished videos we make for you. You give us permission to use them to provide the service, such as editing, storing and posting them.
Please only upload content you have the right to use, and make sure people who appear on camera are happy to be filmed.
Approval and posting
We don’t post anything until you approve it. You’re responsible for the posts you approve and for following the rules of each social platform.
Shoots
You pick your shoot date in the app. If you need to move it, let us know as early as you can so we can reschedule.
Results
We work hard to make videos that perform, but views, followers and sales depend on many things outside our control, so we can’t guarantee specific results.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what data we keep and why.
Changes and contact
If we update these terms, we’ll post the new version here. Questions? Email hello@chefsocial.co.
